Bustling downtown Avarua, the largest city on the island. Here we found an excellent coffee shop (it was the best coffee we had the entire trip), OK internet access, and various shops and services. Food is expensive in Raro, so if you are traveling on a budget, its a good idea to bring some of your own (as we did :^). Note the tiny trucks and 4WD vans which we also saw in NZ. Absent from this pic are scooters which seemed to be the most common form of transportation.
