Joanne struggles with her hair while Richard adjusts his pack as we get ready to do the Avalanche Peak Track. I was really looking forward to getting some much needed exercise, and seeing what tramping in New Zealand was like. What I was most curious to find out was - is tramping in New Zealand better than hiking in Canada?
